5 weeks +1!!!

time flies!
i ve been eating pretty much everything! my mouth still cant open that wide but im guessing maybe thats how it will be ...my mouth (the inside) is so much smaller!
Im supposed to go see the dr. next week but i will be off for a mini vacation so i have an appt july20th...started working out slowly but surely and ihave the energy to run 2 miles!
left side of chin and lip still numb the face is still swolen some days more than others..but im loving getting my energy back! i finally started on the iron supplements and they help a lot!

I have been the laziest person in the world lately and complety forgot about blogging and the fact that it has been a month since surgery!!!!!!! yay.
The sweling has gone down (obvi more to go), and i feel the left side of my face!!! my mouth is kind of numb and i feel tingling on the left side of my lip/chin but still no feeling =(
eating wise-i had pizza!!!!- its ok...i think i did to much to fast and got sick last night. I have been eating more or less reg food no meats or anything but potatoes,rice and pasta (although this is kind of annoying) lol
I m going to exercise today. Haven't gained much weight back i think. ill prob see..
I owe you guys pics they are coming later. promise i hope you guys are doing welll!
and for those still in the first week, believe me it gets better although its hard to believe im actually (after regretin this several times) thinking that was a great decision!

Sooo yesterday was the 3 week mark!
I am unwired!!!! and i ate rice and mashed potatoes and crab legs and pancakes lol (im fast)
with these foods i mostly swallowed barely chewing but heyyy whatever works.
saw the orthodontist too and he removed the surgical wires and put 2 elastics...they are are not too bad but i was hoping to not have anything..clearly my teeth are not perfect quite yet.
opening my mouth hurts a lot and its hard to fit a spoon or fork but im practicing...now the swelling has gone down but its weird im hoping there is more to go because i really do not like the way i look now..I should see the surgeon in 3 weeks im really hoping that my face is still swolen...
Im flying home tomorow and will soon exercise so that i dont gain the weight back ;)
anywho im glad everything is going well post pictures soon!

mmmm nothing really special ...became addicted to the cake milkshake at coldstone...delicious
im actually experiencing in the numb area...thats prob a good sign? the weird faces have stoped but the swelling is still there :(
i scheduled my surgeon appt right before the ortho appointment...if that have to remove the bands and im still sored..thats prob not a good idea i just realized i might have to drink a bottle of ibuprofen (eek) lol.
other than that...im kind of nervous about the weirght gain that will follow...i lost approx 20 lbs..i would like to gain like 5-6 lbs more but thats it ! we will see how that goes

Sorry I have been kind of lazy about posting i actually went back home to my parents house until the next dr. appt June 10th...
couple of interesting things:
1- my mouth makes all these weird faces (smiles etc..) beyond my control its kind of crazy and annoying i hope these are the nerves trying to be ctive again
2-I am still swollen...why!!?!!
3- So...i hve pics in my cam.. can't really upload them my room is a mess and cant find the cable but i will edit this post with pics soon
4-my surgical wire broke... before the flgth home...needless to say my lip was mutilated got some wax..
5- CANT WAIT TO GET A CLEANING Lol

ill update sooon!!! but 2 weeks wow!!! Im getting more used to the new mouth tho and my weigth loss hs slowed down...i think havent weighted myself...momy has been making great blended food for me...
also to add on the list of food i can't wait to eat

Soooo I guess as the pain is lessening the less I will be writing..
The left side of my face still has the weird tingling but its slowly going away now its less on my undereye area and more on my nose and on my lip. I have also been twitching on my left side of my lip ( you can actually see the lip move :() ...do you guys think its normal? i hope this doesnt last because its kind of annoying
Had some headaches today i think i should spend more time outside ...maybe ill go for a long walk tomorow since i havent exercise in a while and i feel way to weak to start running again
Im doing a lot better the bf went and got fruits and we made a yummy smoothie!!! it was a nice day overalll I think i have been overdoing on the sweet tea lol i had one ensure today and tried the v8 tomatoe soup BAD mistake tastes good but kept on getting stuck inside my (wired) jaw...
i think thats all for now....had a great nigth of sleep last night and i hope tonight is the same...enough talking(writting) pics...

7 days post op!!

Well actually at this time...I was still being operated on.
Dr. appt went fine took some x-rays and put elastics in the front teeth while the rest is still wired.
I barely feel numb anywhere but under my left eye and left part of my chin..oh well.
Having trouble sleeping again , but at least i can lay on my side now which is one step closer to being allowed to sleep face down as I usually sleep. oh and great news: i can stop with the antibiotics now!!!!!!
i now lost 12lbs so thats a total of -6 from the 6 lbs i put on for the surgery... i dont feel particularly skinny i feel kind of soft i like my body more toned. I cant wait to exercise soon!
